ISHII Company LLC (the “Company”) complies with the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act of Japan and other applicable export-related laws and regulations in accordance with its internal Export Control Regulations and Export Control Operational Rules.

The Company also respects the applicable laws and regulations of destination countries and internationally accepted trade practices, and conducts appropriate export control from a security export control perspective. 

The Company appoints a person responsible for export control and maintains and operates an appropriate export control system, including the necessary verification and administrative procedures.

■ Verification for Export Transactions 

In conducting export transactions, the Company carefully reviews export-control classification documents and other relevant materials obtained from manufacturers, suppliers, and other parties, and independently confirms the export-control classification as the exporter.

The Company also confirms the product’s end-use, end-user, destination, distribution channels, and other relevant information and carries out the procedures required under applicable laws and regulations.

Even where a product is not subject to list controls, the Company confirms the end-use, end-user, destination, and other relevant information and performs any additional export-control checks required under catch-all controls and other applicable regulations.

Where necessary, the Company also reviews and assesses the possibility of re-export or transfer to a third country.

If concerns arise regarding possible violations of laws or regulations, security-related risks, possible diversion from the declared end-use, lack of transparency in distribution channels, or other export-control issues, the Company may decline to issue a quotation or accept an order, suspend shipment, or discontinue any other related transaction.

■ Information Required for Quotations and Orders 

For transactions involving exports, we generally ask you to provide the following information when requesting a quotation or placing an order:

• Final end-use of the product

• End-user

• Destination

• Distribution channels

• Other information required for export control

If the required information is not provided, or if we are unable to verify the information, we may decline to issue a quotation, accept an order, or make a shipment.

■ False or Materially Inaccurate Information 

If false statements, material inaccuracies, or failure to disclose material facts are identified in information provided by a customer, end-user, or other related party, the Company may suspend performance of an existing contract, terminate the contract, suspend future transactions, or take other necessary measures.

The Company respects security export control requirements and internationally accepted trade practices and is committed to conducting lawful and responsible international transactions. 

■ Your Understanding and Cooperation 

Export-control verification is conducted to ensure legal compliance and the continuation of appropriate international transactions.

When considering an international transaction, we ask for your understanding and cooperation in providing information and documentation concerning the final end-use, end-user, destination, distribution channels, and any other information required for export control.

After reviewing the information provided, the Company will determine whether the transaction can be handled and proceed with any necessary procedures.
